Holy Week is drawing to a close. Today is sometimes referred to as Black Friday. It is the day our Lord and Savior was crucified on the cross for our sins. Many look at this day as a sad day; however, we know the whole story. We know that today had to take place in order for Sunday to be our celebration day.
Many times in our own lives, we have to go through bad things to get to God’s best things. Jesus wasn’t thrilled about dying on the cross. In fact, He asked twice [Mark 14:26; Mark 14:29] for the Lord to take “this cup from me.” Yet in the end, Jesus was obedient to the Father even unto death. Because of His obedience, we all have hope and assurance that one day we will see Him face to face…..God’s best!
What is going on in your life today? Is there an area of life that is hard…you’d rather have it taken away from you? Ask the Father if it is from Him and if it is, press into it in obedience, because the blessings will out way the difficulty every time.
I pray the Lord reveals Himself to you throughout the remainder of Holy Week. Wherever you are in your journey, join with me on Sunday in celebrating the victory in Jesus and trust He will carry you through to the victory side of your struggles as well. Be blessed and Happy Easter!
