What are you willing to spend money on? We all will cut corners to save money where we can, but there are some things we are willing to pay for, even if it’s priced high because it is precious to us.
The value of anything is determined by the price someone is willing to pay. When my son, Sam, was in kindergarten, the art teacher wanted to raise funds to purchase new art supplies for the school. He had each of the kindergarten students make a clay bird ornament and paint it. Then he held an art show where the parents could come and purchase their child’s artwork. Each grade level made a different item and all of the items were displayed. I don’t remember what I ended up paying for that clay bird, but the school was able to purchase the art supplies needed. To this day, the bird ornament is very precious to me. It always has a special place on our Christmas tree because it is something my son made.
Christ determined your worth the day He died on the cross for you [John 3:16]. He placed a priceless price tag on you then He bought you with His own blood [1 Corinthians 6:19-20]. That is the highest currency possible.
Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you aren’t worth anything. To Jesus, you were worth everything and He paid the price in full. The value of anything is determined by the price someone is willing to pay and He paid everything for you.
