What are you believing God for today?  Is it something you’d just like to see happen or is it something that He has to do or it won’t get done?
Many of us believe God can and does do miracles, we just don’t believe He’ll do them for us.  We don’t see our need as important as stamping out world hunger or ceasing wars.  After all, who are we?
According to Ephesians 1:4, we’re chosen by God.  He didn’t choose us because we had it all together, thankfully.  He chose us because He loves us [Romans 5:8].  John 15:16 says, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit– fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My name.”  He picked us to be on His team.  The good news is it doesn’t matter if we’re on a field with a thousand other people or all alone, He still chooses us.
He didn’t just choose us to be with Him; He chose us to partner with Him [Matthew 28:18-20]. As verse 20 clearly stated, He is with us always.  He doesn’t just throw us out into the world and say, “Good luck with that!”  He walks beside us and provides whatever we need to do what He’s called us to do [Hebrews 13:20-21].  If He is going to invest that much time and energy towards us, would He let something like an impossible obstacle stand in our way.  Of course not!  He allows them to exist to remind us of our need for Him, but He doesn’t abandon us in our time of need.  He’s a good father and He will give us what we need [Matthew 7:11].
Are you in need of a miracle today?  “Nothing is impossible with God” [Luke 1:37]. If you want something, ask for it. He doesn’t just give us permission to ask, but He tells us to do it in John 16:24.  He goes on to tell us in Mark 11:24 when we ask for something, we need to believe it is ours.  Faith is a key component to seeing our prayers answered.
God is still in the miracle business. If we’re not seeing miracles, it’s either because we’re not asking or we’re not paying attention.  What situation do you need to see Him step into today? I have something I’m believing Him to do in my life.  If He doesn’t show up, it won’t happen. I know He can do it and I’m choosing to believe He will.  What about you? What are you choosing to believe today?
