Have you seen Angelah Johnson’s stand-up routine, The Nail Salon? It is hilarious. The thing that cracks me up is all the upcharges she slides in on her customer. Does that ever happen to you? This happens with everything from medical expenses and home repairs to nail salons. You are quoted one price and then when it’s time to pay, you’re faced with a greater expense than you agreed to pay. If the services have already been rendered, you have a real mess on your hands. What do you do?
Fortunately, for us, Jesus paid the prices for our sins once and for all [John 3:16]. There are no upcharges. Isaiah 53:4 says He “took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.” There’s nothing He didn’t cover. 1 John 4:10 says “This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” Jesus paid it all. There are no additional charges that can be applied, no matter what the enemy tries to tell you. Jesus didn’t pay the price for everyone’s sins except yours. He covered them all. John 1:7 says, “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.” [Italics and emphasis mine.] When the enemy comes knocking at your door to try and convince you that your sin wasn’t covered, that it’s a hidden charge, ask him one simple question: “What part of all do you not understand?” It’s done. Jesus was crystal clear in John 19:30 when He declared, “It is finished!” He left no room for discussion.
What have you been holding onto because you felt it wasn’t covered, you had to carry it? There is no limit to Christ’s forgiveness and love. Whatever you’ve been lugging around, weighing you down, Jesus is big enough to carry it. He paid for it. Give it to Him and walk in the freedom He purchase for you. It’s like the old hymn says, “Jesus paid it all…”
It a sexy, feminine fragrance, which is suitable for a ladies night out, a nightclub or even a formal event. Although the fragrance is noticeable, it not a perfume that will be overbearing.
