What does hope mean to you?  How would you define it? Webster says hope is:

to cherish a desire with anticipation; to desire with expectation of obtainment; to expect with confidence.”

The Hebrew word for hope is yachal, which means,

to wait, hope, expect.”

What is your hope in today?  Mine can be summed up in one word-

JESUS!

Psalm 25:3-5 says,

No one whose hope is in You will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. Show me Your ways, O LORD, teach me Your paths; guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long.

Today we celebrate HOPE peeling back the curtain of heaven and stepping down to earth to ensure we will never have to be without hope again. John 3:16 sums it up for us,

 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
