Anything exciting happening in your world today? Any fun weekend plans? This afternoon I will pick my son up from college. He'll be home for a few weeks before taking off for a summer internship. During that time he'll try and catch up on sleep, connect with friends, and probably eat everything that isn't nailed down. He has grown into a very independent young man, very self sufficient. A Guaranteed Way to Grow Stronger

Are you a worrier? When you receive a bad doctor's report or the possibility of unpleasant news, do you worry about it? I have one friend who tells me if she worries about it, then it never happens. I think she's afraid not to worry about it for fear it would play out as she imagined. A dear friend of mine was just diagnosed with cancer. Needless to say, it came as a shock to her. What is your first response when faced with a crisis? Do you pick up the phone and call your best friend? Do you call home? What can they do for you? You, too, can be a first responder.

Did you see pictures of the massive tornado in Oklahoma?  It was a massive, force of destruction at least a half-mile wide that took out nearly everything in its path.  The winds were recorded to be 200 mph at times. More than 120 people were treated at area hospitals, approximately 70 of those children. The death toll is up to 51 and expected to rise.  It's incomprehensible for those of us who weren't there.
