How to REALLY Keep that Colgate Grin

Is anybody listening?

Who do you go to when you have a crisis and need prayer? Do you start calling all of your friends, asking them to pray? Or do you go into your prayer closet, alone, and cry out to Jesus? Is anybody listening?

What happens when you ask someone a question? Do they respond? Immediately? Or do they sit there looking at you for long periods of time without saying anything?  I'm guessing they respond immediately, even if the response isn't one you wanted to hear. The same is true with the Lord. He doesn't just ignore us when we talk with Him or ask Him things. In fact, He encourages us to ask Him for things. What are you listening to?

Do you talk to yourself? On a normal basis I don't; however, when I'm running, I find its the only way for me to make it through a run.  When I started running, it was more walking than running.  I couldn't run around the block without stopping.  With training, I was able to run my first 5K last weekend. My goal was to run the whole thing, which I did. I was pleasantly surprised by my time.  All of the training paid off for the big day.
