How to Make the Impossible Possible

The cookbook from my Southern Elementary School class. Photo credit: Rebecca Fleming Do you remember your kindergarten teacher? I never attended kindergarten, but I taught kindergarten. I loved my students dearly. They were fun. They were trusting. They were adventurous. I could have walked in the door and told my class we were going to climb on the roof and learn to fly and I think they would have cheered and followed me. They trusted me. They believed in me; therefore, they followed me. As a result, our year together was filled with fun and adventure. As [...]

Making the impossible possible…

What's your dream? If you could do anything, go anywhere, see anything, what would it be? If you're having trouble coming up with an answer, think back to what you wanted to be when you grew up. Most of us put few restrictions on ourselves when we were little. We thought that anything was possible. What happened? We grew up. We allowed ourselves to get jaded. What could possibly qualify me to speak out against this issue? His answer was loud and clear, Me." How do you argue with that? Then I tried the [...]

POSSIBLE!

Has God ever asked you to do or believe something that seems ridiculous, far-fetched or impossible? He did of Joshua. Joshua 6:1-2 says, Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in. Then the LORD said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men.” Jericho was a fortified city.  As I was researching the walls of Jericho, I read, The mound, or “tell” of Jericho was surrounded by a great earthen rampart, or embankment, with a stone retaining wall at [...]
