So, did you get in the hustle and bustle of the after Thanksgiving rush and go on a hunt for a treasure or two this past week? I got out in the crowd, but primarily for the purpose of spending time with family members. Today, however, I did some shopping alone. I came across one of the most simple nativity scenes I’ve ever seen and I had to buy it. I have a special friend in mind for this little treasure; however, I was able to enjoy it today. As I made purchases throughout my day, I had to reorganize my bag to hold everything. Each time, I pulled out the nativity to keep it from breaking. I was captivated each time by the simplicty of it and moved by its beauty. Once I arrived home, I unpacked my treasures. I realized the nativity was speaking a very loud message to me. Christmas is really very simple when you think about it. God loved us enough to step out of His throne room and enter into our world to offer us a chance to step into His. Simple yet beautiful… KJV Luke 2:10-11 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
