Do you desire to have an encounter with Jesus? Is it something you pray for daily? I can tell you the secret to ensure you will have an encounter with the living God. You can find it in Luke 2:25-39.
As Jewish custom dictated, Jesus had been circumcized and was being presented in the temple following His birth. When the holy family entered the temple, there were two people present who desperately desired an encounter with the living God. Simeon and Anna had both spent their lives in devotion to God, pursuing the things of Him. He was their top priority. As a result of their devotion, the Father allowed them both to encounter the Christ child.
Are you wholeheartedly devoted to God? Do you passionately pursue the things of Him? Have you made Him your top priority? If not, take some time today and ask the Lord to reveal what is standing in your way so you can put things in their proper order.
