Have you ever noticed the special bond between a mother and son? It’s precious to witness and even more fabulous to experience. My son is about to turn 17 years old, which is hard to believe. I had to wake him up early this morning to take his sister to school for a meeting before school and found him sound asleep with his hands raised over his head like he was in a stick up. I laughed out loud, because he used to always sleep that way in his crib. It took me down memory lane for a few minutes. I thank God for each and every memory He allowed me to recall. Unfortunately, I had to stop reminiscing and wake him up or his sister would be late for her meeting.
Too often the pull of our daily responsibilities and commitments keep us from pausing to remember all Jesus did for us the very first Easter. I pray for the remainder of this week, you will make time to pause and recall, not only all He did for you that day, but also all He has done for you since. We need to remember the love our Lord Jesus Christ has for us. He is for us always and He makes ALL things new again.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
