Have you ever worked with a translator before? You have a message you want to convey to a person or a group of people, but you don’t speak their language well if at all.  You say what you need to say and then the translator says the same message to the person or persons in their language.  Sometimes the translator may have to change a few of the words to convey the accurate meaning of your message.  Ultimately, your message is heard and then the listener can respond.
According to Romans 8:26, the Holy Spirit is our translator, “the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.” While we may not know what to ask the Father for, the Spirit knows what we need.  He takes our prayers and translates them into the language of heaven, crying out to the Father on our behalf.  Romans 8:34 goes on to say Christ is at the right hand of the Father interceding for us.  We have two parts of the Trinity interceding for us before the Father. How does that make you feel? It gives me peace, even in my struggles.  On my worst day, I’m not alone because Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are on my side. If I was standing on a playground picking a team to play in the game of life, they would certainly be two I’d want on my team. You’ve heard the saying, “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.” If that’s the case, then we’re set.  We have friends in high places and they’re pulling for us.
What situation do you find yourself in right now?  Do you even know where to begin praying about it? You don’t have to stress over it.  Pour out your heart to the Lord and trust that He will get your message across to the Father. He wants to be on your team, all you have to do is pick Him.
