possibleWhat’s your dream? If you could do anything, go anywhere, see anything, what would it be? If you’re having trouble coming up with an answer, think back to what you wanted to be when you grew up.

Most of us put few restrictions on ourselves when we were little. We thought that anything was possible. What happened?

We grew up. We allowed ourselves to get jaded. We factored God out of the equation and started looking at what we were capable of doing. Suddenly, our dreams got very small… small and realistic. Possible.

Mark 10:14 says,

When Jesus saw this, He was indignant. He said to them, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'”

The Lord said the Kingdom of God belongs to those who come to Him like children. What would that look like. How would we come to Him if we had childlike faith?

  1. We would come to Him with our problems, trusting Him to fix them because He is our Daddy.
  2. We would come running to Him excited with our victories, wanting to tell Him all that happened and celebrate with Him.
  3. We would come to Him to just hang out because we love spending time with our Daddy.
  4. We would come to Him with our dreams, assuming there was a realm of possibility of them happening because He was on our side.

What would happen if we changed the equation again? What if we factored God back into things?

Our dreams would suddenly grow. They would become huge again. They would require God and life would get wild and exciting once again.

So I ask you again, what’s your dream? Not the dream You can make happen, but the dream that will never become a reality without God’s help.

Me? My dream is impossible unless I factor God into the equation. My dream is to see Rescuing Hope become a major motion picture, spreading the message of sex trafficking in America across the nation, causing others to become outraged and step into the fight. Then people can no longer say they do not know.

There. I said it. Now it’s out there. I know for certain there’s nothing I, Susan Norris, can do to make that become a reality. Thankfully, Matthew 19:26 is in the Bible.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

And Mark 1:37 is in the Bible,

For nothing is impossible with God.”

You see when God is added to the equation, the impossible becomes possible. It looks something like this:

impossible + God = possible

I’ve risked it all by sharing my dream with you. What about you? Are you willing to say it out loud? Are you willing to hit the “comment” button and share your dream with the world? You never know if the avenue God is going to send you down to make your dream a reality is another reader who can connect you to the gate keeper. What’s your dream?
