Key 2Well, if that didn’t grab your attention, I don’t know what will.

NO! I am not expecting a child at my age.

Thank goodness. But I did birth something recently.

I have worked for over 5 years in the anti-trafficking movement and have finally birthed the nonprofit, Rescuing Hope, Inc. Those of you who have journeyed with me for a while now are not surprised by the name.

You can learn all about the ministry by skipping on over to my new website here. I am so very pleased with the way it turned out. It conveys the message of Hope and the work we do. The designer I worked with, Sarah Delaney, grasped the full meaning behind the ministry and worked tirelessly to have it up and running for us before our first event, Circle Atlanta for Hope, which I hope you’ll all be a part of and invite your friends.

Things will change a little now that I’ll have two websites and two blogs running. I will still meet you here with inspirational devotions, but instead of doing so every day, I will post here once a week. While I know my calling is to work in the fight against sex trafficking, I couldn’t turn away from the opportunity to share the source of all hope, Jesus Christ. After all, we’re all called to share Jesus any chance we get. You’ll be able to connect with me at Rescuinghope.com once a week to read my  blog posting on the anti-trafficking movement.

So many of you have been faithful readers of mine from the very beginning, when I was just learning what a blog was and how to write one. Others of you are fairly new to my writing. Either way, I hope and pray you’ll continue on this journey with me. Your comments and insights are a blessing to me. I treasure our connection and hope it will last for years to come.

So, as with any new parent, wish me well and pray for me often. I’ll do the same for you. And as you walk out your calling in life, remember one of my favorite verses, 1 Thessalonians 5:24,

The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it.”

Now, go walk it out in faith!
