My favorite chair in my office. What does your office look like? Mine is a collection of the places and people I've served in ministry. My favorite chair in my office was a gift to me from the students I served in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). It is draped with a quilt that was gifted to me from the Adullam Orphanage in Ghana, West Africa, where I serve when I go. Do you remember?

Do you have a favorite Christmas decoration? Something you pull out year after year that represents a special person or place? I love my nativity scenes. I have started collecting them. How to get through the hard stuff…

Have you felt called by God to do something only to find it difficult?  Two of my friends have known for years they were called to be full time missionaries in Ghana, West Africa.  They prayed about it, sought wise counsel, committed to do it, found a sending agency and began training and preparations.  It was exciting and they were moving right along.  They put their house on the market and it sold quickly.  Everything seemed to be moving on fast forward.
